Blogging for Hire

I was looking for work and recently found an ad for a content writer. Basically, I had to jump through hoops, submitting to two online writing and editing tests. I did Google the “hiring” company, and they really have no social media presence for a marketing company. So weird.

After I applied, I was asked to submit to an additional test: write a 500-word blog post for “their client,” a law firm out of Mississippi. As an astute writer should, I investigated.

When I Googled Mississippi auto accidents, the first five hits I got back were for actual local news outlets, but after that was that good-old-boy law office. They basically rewrite local news articles, competitor blogs, or industry articles, and publish them on the law office blog to boost their SEO. The law office had few reviews or even articles, so it’s possible they’re either just a referral agency or simply fishing for data.

Anyway, I submitted for the test and haven’t heard back. Why didn’t I get the job?

What To Do in a Mississippi Car Accident?

You’ve just paid $8.27 on a double slugburger, a fry, and a Coke. You’re driving on Bradley Rd toward U.S. 72 West for Walnut. You run a stop sign, and a damn white Prius with Connecticut plates comes out of nowhere on the main highway, and they make you T-bone their car. What do you do? The next steps you take are crucial to holding the other party accountable for their reckless actions that caused your collision.

If this was your car, it’s the other’s guys fault.

Mississippi operates on fault-based laws, which means other people are always at fault for what happens to the residents of Mississippi. The law works so you can get the compensation you want when you need it the most, whether in Jackson, Biloxi, Vicksburg, or Corinth.

First, get out of your car and investigate the damage. The thought there could be a scratch across the grill of your double cab should enrage you. Investigate whether that Jap mobile is totaled, merely dented, or just scratched. Get back into your truck, put it in drive, and plow that car until it’s barely recognizable. Vehicles must be cleared from the roadway after an accident when possible.

Everybody needs a lawyer.

Second, get a confession, and kill any available witnesses who aren’t willing to testify on your behalf. You’ll pull out your right from God, Jesus, and the Apostle Saul, and point Beaufort at the other driver, and help them make a recorded confession admitting to 100% fault. Why?

Weapons for self defense and hunting.

Mississippi is a Fault-Based State

Any lawyer will help you negotiate a settlement with the other driver’s insurance company and get you cash from their homeowner’s umbrella insurance policy. Mississippi law allows you the freedom to hold someone else accountable. Our law allows you to contact the at-fault driver’s car insurance company directly, play your false confession and then file a claim. So collect and kill at the crash site, and money will flow your way from those out-of-state insurance companies.

Remember, there are many states with liberal policies in addition to Connecticut, such as Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, Cape Cod, New York State, New Jersey, Long Island, South Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Maryland.

Accident equals money

Steal their phones, and have hackers install texts at the time of the accident. Were they eating, shove your slugburger leftover and then get their DNA. Was there some other way they were negligent? Crack open that beer, and douse them and their car remnants in Corona. Spray their eyes with limes, and then the local lawyer can help you.

Who Do You Call After You’ve Been in an Accident?

First, legally, in Mississippi, you must report an accident to a local, county, or the closest Mississippi Highway Patrol Station if there was an injury or death from the accident or if property damage exceeds $500 or more. But really, you need to call your buddy Chris with that sketchy ice cream van with no plates. Tie everyone up, blindfold them, and throw them in the back of the van.

Everybody loves ice cream!

There’s nothing illegal about this. We’re just as civilized as anyone else. It’s called a citizen’s arrest, and it’s the third amendment. Document everything and everyone, and then make your call to a local Mississippi lawyer who deals with car accidents, citizens arrests, and paying off local law enforcement to press charges and cite out-of-state drivers to help you win the money you deserve.

You may end up in prison, but no one will be executed.
