FAQs.
Can I book Theodore for speaking engagements or interviews?
What is some advice Theodore would give me?
Write. Make mistakes, challenge the world, and write about it. Take time off. Focus on what else you find interesting other than writing, and find time for it. If you’re struggling with your creativity, I recommend Julia Cameron’s The Artist’s Way.
Would Theodore help me brainstorm or would he consult on a fiction project?
At this time, I’d be hesitant to offer my help, but check back in later. Brainstorming and problem-solving plot issues is my bread and butter. I may be happy to take on clients at a future date.
Would Theodore critique my work?
I struggle with reading in general, even in reading the work of my partner. As I’m typing this copy, I’m currently working on the copy and materials for this website, a novella, a standalone short story, and a magazine article on neurodiverse writers, as well as managing the submission process for my short story collection. Hiring a good editor who is familiar with your genre is my strong suggestion. I have one listed in my team section.
I was just diagnosed with a blood cancer (leukemia/lymphoma). Can Theodore give me advice?
I’m sorry that you’ve been diagnosed. My knowledge of cancer comes with my personal experience with Hodgkin lymphoma and the experience has influenced my fiction, but fiction is always fiction. For my personal cancer story and my guidance, click HERE
